In depth

Verdict

ROBERTSTOWN (NAP) is a fascinating newcomer here for John Ferguson. Very lightly-raced on the Flat, he won his final two starts for Jim Bolger and wouldn't be making his debut in this grade if he hadn't been showing plenty at home. Fouburg is fancied to reverse Ludlow running with Who Dares Wins on 4lb better terms if he settles better, though both are preferred to Musselburgh scorer Sir Chauvelin and the already-exposed Consortium. The latter's stablemate Old Fashion looks to be well out of her depth.
