Verdict

It's hard to oppose any Mark Johnston horse at the moment, and so we won't here, but give our backing to INTERDIAMONDS, who we prefer to John Gosden's two runners, Decorum and Twisted. With a big field though, some newcomers and by and large an unexposed field, we wouldn't take too short a price and we'd take note of any market moves. Interdiamonds is the yard's only runner on the card, and was runner up on debut. She may find this ground a little more to her liking, and she's got plenty in hand at the weights with some of these. The yard won this race last year, and we fancy they can do so again. Stablemates Decorum and Twisted both have disadvantageous draws, next to each other. The latter would seem to be their first choice given jockey bookings, with Jimmy Fortune on board, but there's little to choose between them on paper. Both were six figure purchases, but neither has any fancy entries. Decorum's more exposed and returns to this sort of company after an unsuccessful try in a handicap. The market can give us plenty of clues here hopefully, but we'll side with Interdiamonds.
