In depth

Verdict

Reveillez, a decent handicapper on the flat made a smooth transition to hurdling with a victory and Windsor and can follow up here at the expense of Migration and Pretty Star. James Fanshawe's six-year-old scored by seven lengths in that two mile event and as he was an out an out stayer on the flat he will be much more at home over this longer trip. He can land this prize before taking in one of the top events at the Festival. Migration has been a model of consistency this season and after being highly tried in the Ladbroke Hurdle last week, will be much more at home in this company. Pretty Star looks the pick of the two Alan King runners having finished a close second to Rubberdubber at Newbury last month. Stable companion Anshabil and Lucy Whadam's Resplendent Star may prove best of the remainder, but Reveillez looks to have a touch of class and is a confident selection.
