Verdict

John Ferguson introduced the smart Purple Bay in this two years ago and could be on the mark again with BENGO - the Beneficial gelding can send McCoy supporters home happy. Jellied Eel Jack and Sugar Train are other interesting newcomers while Amber Gambler and Kerrow are on recovery missions having disappointed last time. Davy Doubt showed promise last season but, like Mr Beatle, has an absence to overcome while winning pointer Micks Lad makes his debut under Rules and may find this trip too short.
