In depth

Verdict

Mahale placed at Windsor last time and has gone close before and still remains without a win. Cometh The Man never threatened when runner-up at Bath but The Mousen Champ recovered from early interference to finish second at Newcastle. TEES SPIRIT made a winning handicap debut when scoring at Ripon last week on his first start gelded having switched yards since last season. There looks more to come from him and he’s also preferred to Saunton and Temple Bruer, who both return to action with a chance.
