Verdict

Just five runners head to post for the feature and ETAAB appears the type that can progress to better things. William Haggas' filly was a ready winner on her handicap debut at Yarmouth and she can defy a 6lb rise for that success. Doraar was behind our selection when they met in a Lingfield maiden and Roger Varian's charge confirmed that positive impression with a subsequent victory at Salisbury. Dusky Hero was a beaten favourite at York last time though Richard Fahey's filly had been in fair form prior to that reverse, and she comes into this race as the only course and distance winner in the field. Our Queenie and Tight Fit have been largely ignored in the betting on their most recent starts and they look to have it all to do here.
