    Verdict

Miss Pross and Eborarry are considered but Ela Re is preferred to Mongorno and Salhood. The selection hasn't been at his best in two runs over hurdles this season but he has more to offer as a chaser and can resume his upward curve. He ran out a ready winner from Original Fly on his last chase start at Bangor in April and doesn't look too harshly treated. Salhood and Roofing Spirit are consistent sorts but both are probably high enough in the weights now and the ex-French Mongorno is of more interest. He never got competitive on his British debut at Wetherby in December but can be expected to improve bundles for that experience and this looks to be a realistic target. Chery D'Or makes his debut for a new yard and would enter the equation if the vibes were positive but Ela Re gets the nod.
