    In depth

    Verdict

Langford, River of Babylon and Zerlina can fight out the finish of this trappy affair, and Langford can lead them home. River of Babylon was staying on in taking style when running over seven furlongs at Goodwood, and this extra furlong looks sure to suit. He can go close. Zerlina was having her first outing of the season when finishing second on the Polytrack at Lingfield and although she will come on for the run, the form may be weak. For the selection, we turn to Langford. Langford was just touched off at Epsom over nine furlongs and this drop back in trip looks the right move. A win and two seconds in Langford¿s last three starts show consistency and Langford can lead them home.
