In depth

Verdict

A race to enter with just minimum stakes in play as the Leger trip takes plenty of stick from these seasoned handicappers. Among the more interesting runners to focus upon is Noble Pasao. Andy Turnell's charge gets on really well with Feargal Lynch and he scraped to victory over two furlongs shorter at Lingfield. There is much more on their collective plates today but the market should be watched. Mark Johnston has managed to find plenty from within Knavesmire Omen's constitution but he is opposed today on account of the ground. He was well beaten on his last run at York by Dr Cool. John Akehurst's charge has been highly impressive of late but he will not be a great price today. It may pay today to side with a TEAMtalk each-way bet upon Kaparolo. Amanda Perrett's charge has been a little disappointing of late but he has been taking on significantly stronger opposition than this. Proven over trip and going, and with Richard Quinn on board, he has much to recommend him. Of the remainder, My Line looks to be the best of the two Mary Reveley representatives. Dropped 2lb since his last outing, he is a consistent performer who should be suited by the going and a large field infront of him.
