SOVEREIGN DEBT hasn't done as well as expected though he's generally competed at a much higher level and the race conditions suit him here. He should have enough to see off Highland Colori on these terms, though Andrew Balding's charge was by no means disgraced in the Group 2 Dubai Challenge Stakes at Newmarket after his brilliant victory in the Ayr Gold Cup. The Godolphin pair Free Wheeling and Firebeam are by no means out of this though are probably heading back to Meydan and Stand My Ground, though having a bit to find, wouldn't be a shock winner in these conditions.
