Verdict

Aupcharlie was sent to Hexham for his debut where he started favourite and beat all bar the penalised Noble Scholar. The winner has been beaten several times subsequently but the form still looks solid enough. Jammia ran well enough on his debut at Clonmel to be considered while Flycorn ran a similar sort of race at Thurles and is another who should have come on for the experience. CARRIG MILLIE showed the benefit of her opening run with a much better performance behind He's Our Man at Naas. The winner has done well subsequently over hurdles and the form looks strong enough for Michael Cullen's mare to go one better, though there are plenty with chances in a very tricky finale.
