Verdict

MYDOR, a useful handicap hurdler, hasn't really distinguished himself over fences but has competed at a higher level than this and it should be his day to get off the mark. Crest looked set for a bright future when making a winning debut over hurdles at Navan a year ago but hasn't done as well as expected over fences though still has plenty of time. Winning hurdler Bright Tomorrow has been out of form and appears to need better ground while Kentucky Star, a winner over hurdles at Musselburgh in December, has been well beaten there in both subsequent starts and makes his debut over fences.
