Verdict

SANDYMOUNT DUKE arrives on the back of an easy success at Punchestown and Jessica Harrington’s charge may well defy a big hike in the weights. Devils Bride has been struggling for some time now while The Jazz Singer has been upped a massive 18lb after scoring over course and distance. But Cecil Corbett returned to winning ways at Downpatrick and finished ahead of stable companion Turn Over Sivola before that while Hello Sweetie bids for a hat-trick raised 9lb. Net D'ecosse went close over these fences on his penultimate start so is not out of this.
