The mare Leish Oscar has yet to win under Rules but it won't be long judging by her two narrow defeats over fences, the latest by Speckled Wood at Wexford. Rye Martini showed the benefit of his opening effort over fences by running Foxrock close at Fairyhouse and is likely to progress again. He has the beating of Mullaghanoe River on that form though the latter improved when runner-up to Sizing Gold at Navan. The useful hurdler MOUNT COLAH didn't jump with any fluency behind Mozoltov at Fairyhouse but was still able to run well and is taken to land a tricky opener. Seskinane makes his debut over regulation fences and the winning point-to-pointer is definitely one to note.
