Verdict

Burning Issues has been gradually dropping to a mark he's capable of winning from and showed much more dash at Fairyhouse last month. Dramatic Event produced easily his best run over timber when runner-up in a Navan handicap and the step up in trip should suit. VOTE OF CONFIDENCE (NAP) looked like winning when taking up the running at Punchestown a fortnight ago but was eventually run out of it close home. Clontarf finished ahead of him in second and there should be nothing between them again, though the selection may just have come on more for the run. Misdflight stepped up to this trip for the first time at Clonmel last week and ran his best race for some time. He finished with a flourish and a similar effort should see him in the frame.
