Verdict

Irish Reel has been a beaten favourite on her last three starts but hasn't been beaten far and will be popping up one of these days. Night Glimmer finished runner-up over 2m last time and may find this on the short side and Balrath Hope couldn't cope with a 6lb rise at Killarney after completing a double last month. Sindjara, a winner at Dundalk in December, attempted to make all over a mile at the Curragh on her reappearance but was beaten at the furlong pole so this can go to VIOLET LASHES. She landed a Roscommon maiden in comfortable style from subsequent winner Dougal Philps before being outclassed in a Naas Listed event. This looks more her grade and her young rider's claim is a bonus.
