In depth

Verdict

Ger Lyons won this three times before the sequence was halted last year and will be keen to get back on track with Zander. The daughter of Oasis Dream attracted good support on her debut at the Curragh and, though finding a couple too strong, will have improved enough to challenge here. CRUCIATUS followed a reasonable debut when favourite at Naas with a good run in a Group 3 at the Curragh on Saturday and that form should be good enough for this. No Needs Never made a promising debut at Cork and was sent to Royal Ascot for the Coventry Stakes but never got into contention and will find this more to his liking. Biltmore looks best of the remainder without looking a serious contender.
