Verdict

ONGENSTOWN LAD produced a smooth performance to score at Sligo on Sunday and Keith Donoghue's claim more than negates the 4lb penalty incurred. He should complete a quick double though Chapter Eleven improved to win nicely at Ballinrobe and there should be more progress in her. Kizzy O won between the flags in May and returned to hurdling with a fine run behind Promise Maker at Tramore so she can get competitive from just 2lb higher. Banellie is a decent staying hurdler at his best but returns from almost a year off and may just need the run.
