In depth

Verdict

JACK SLADE was pulled up on his chasing bow over these fences but found only one too good at Clonmel last week. Noel Meade’s charge can put his experience to good use and is preferred to chasing newcomers Bertie Bell and Artical Eleven. The latter pair scored over hurdles at this venue and Wexford respectively on their latest starts, though Bertie Bell is returning from an absence. Fenlon's Hill finished well ahead of Forever Dylan when fifth at Tramore on his chasing debut but Ocean Glandore is preferred on his recent third at Punchestown.
