Verdict

Rookery Rebel has had problems with his jumping but a clear round should see him involved in this while Paddy O Dee fell when struggling at Kilbeggan and may be best watched for now. Watermelon looked a certain future winner over fences when beaten a short-head by Lady Hillingdon at Killarney but didn't build on that on her only subsequent start here at the end of last month. Fine Call beat a big field over hurdles at Cork in July but that was on soft ground and she has run poorly on faster going since. YOUR BUSY won twice over timber in early summer on fast ground and Ruby Walsh, who was on board when he started favourite at Killarney last time, has been booked to ride again which suggests connections mean business.
