Dizzy Rascal can't get her head in front and was having her 27th start over hurdles when runner-up at Killarney. She had previously been left in the lead at the last at Thurles but still managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Katys Girl is another long-time maiden who should have won by now, especially after her second to Zaidpour at Punchestown in November, while Lord Rudi has some decent form to his credit though mainly on ground with plenty of give. EIRLAND was a short-priced favourite in a similar race over the C&D at the last meeting and looked as though he was going to reward his supporters when leading at the last. Unfortunately he met it all wrong and gave Paul Carberry little chance of staying on board and the chance had gone. Compensation awaits here.
