Verdict

It's All A Joke was well beaten when runner-up on testing ground at Navan and makes his debut on the surface. Khwarizmi never showed in his opening runs which is why he was a 40/1 chance here a month ago but he belied his odds with a much better effort and should get into the frame. Cats Approval never got into the action in that latter event but stayed on at the finish so should get closer. Snow Patch showed the benefit of her opening run with a good performance over 6f a fortnight ago where she showed up well throughout so she looks best of those with experience. There are a couple of newcomers worth noting in this moderate contest. California Yoohoo cost $130,000 and is a half-brother to a Dirt winner in the USA but it's FORLAN who catches the eye. A half-brother to My Dream Boat, who beat Found in last year's Prince Of Wales's Stakes, he has Kevin Manning on board and is taken to make a successful start.
