In depth

Verdict

It's strange to see Jamesie racing over 6f on his Polytrack debut as his only victory was over a mile though he ran well over the trip at Cork early in August. Rory Cleary produced a master class to get TRULY GENIUS home on his debut here in August, bringing his mount with a sweetly-timed challenge to catch the consistent Expire right on the line. Trainer Christy Donoghue believed the winner was in need of the run so he should make progress and take care of the runner-up on the same terms. Knock Stars has been in good form but finished behind Expire here last time and there is no particular reason for a form reversal. Green Warrior makes his Polytrack debut but would have a real chance if able to repeat the form of his close second to Looking Lovely at Leopardstown.
