Verdict

Primo Uomo reappeared here last January after a long break and beat Ecclesiastical just under a length. The latter won next time and will be a massive 17lb better off, though arrives in poor form and was behind Ajax Tavern, Eglish and Queens Carriage last time. The winner led for a long way over 7f on his hat-trick bid on Wednesday but may find some of these too quick. Devious Angel completed a double at Chester for Tom Dascombe and has joined John Nallen while That's Mad won three times on Turf last summer. ADAMS BARBOUR is in superb form and, after two victories over the minimum, made all over 6f on Wednesday and can defy a 7lb penalty.
