In depth

Verdict

Carrie Bow Cay looked all set to lose her maiden tag in a handicap here last month but could only stay on at one pace. Jim Bolger is struggling to find an opening for CRAIC AGUS SPRAOI and she is having her first start on the surface and over this trip but the 3000,000 euros filly has shown some ability and could do with a victory for the paddocks so gets the nod. Mr Boss Man is a winning bumper but he ran poorly when last seen in July while Saga Diamond made her debut over 7f in June but she's related to middle distance winners so should be happier over this trip. The market should tell us more about the newcomers with Tom Melbourne one to note as his dam has produced winners with her first two foals.
