EGLISH (NAP) is 0-10 on Turf but has a terrific all-weather record and can record a fourth course victory under champion apprentice Gavin Ryan, even though he drops back a furlong and is carrying a penalty. Maggie Thunder had to drop to 5f to get off the mark here 10 days ago but has placed over this trip on Turf and Baby Power has been in good form on that surface lately, though has only placed once here in four attempts and that was more than three years ago. Neither Ticks The Boxes nor Fit For Function are getting any younger and both have been out of sorts.
