In depth

Verdict

Pat Smullen almost snatched a victory on Sports Casual over the C&D last month but was caught on the line by Five Two for which his mount gets a 3lb rise. The veteran Bricks And Porter was just behind in third and has upheld the form with another good effort behind Kenton Street on Saturday. Harry Days showed that his fine run behind Boynagh Joy in September was no fluke as he gained a convincing victory over ROCK ON CIARA two weeks ago. He's been raised 9lb for that success and the runner-up, who was beaten two lengths and was having her first start for 14 months, can reverse the form on the revised terms and take this. Master Of Light is up 8lb for his success at Wolverhampton which may prevent a follow-up.
