Verdict

SAN ANDREAS is comfortably the pick on official ratings and, with Jake Coen's claim to aid his cause, looks the one to beat after earning a nice prize when placed in Doha last month. Runner-up in this a year ago when odds-on, he should have the beating of the 2020 winner Bowerman, who returned to winning form over the extended 1m2f last month and is probably better over that trip nowadays. The latter's yard also run Casanova, who completed a double on Turf in September and is well up to this at his best though could just need the run. Meishar is better over shorter and, though the small field will be in his favour, he has something to find on official ratings.
