Verdict

ZIPPITY was making his all-weather debut and having his first start since August when scoring with something in hand last month. He had Plough Boy, Danz Gift and Pillar behind with Super Julius well beaten. There were no hard-luck stories and Tracey Collins' grey should confirm the form despite an 8lb rise. Red Cymbal led for a long way last week and though having no answer when the very progressive Sceptical swept past he managed to hold on for second. Eleuthera has won over the trip though that was at Southwell and he's better over further these days. Mister Trader's two career victories have been on good to soft ground while Ticks The Boxes, six times a winner in the UK, has never won over the trip.
