In depth

Verdict

Deep Speed is undoubtedly the form pick though it's a huge surprise to see him racing over this trip after his close second over 1m3f here earlier this month. His previous effort was also over a much longer trip than this though one of his main rivals, The Visitor, also raced over 1m3f on his debut here on Friday and is quickly dropped in trip. The latter has a pedigree more suiting to the distance and should improve for the experience though a chance is taken with DUSTY IN MEMPHIS. He looked a nice prospect on his debut here last year behind George Vancouver but things haven't gone according to the script subsequently and hopefully he can start making up for lost time. Tetard is yet another taking a drop in distance after showing pace over 1m1f at Wexford.
