Verdict

ABILITY N DELIVERY, just beaten by Kimbay here in September, was meeting that rival on 16lb better terms last week but again couldn't hold her off. He was returning from a two month break and from the same mark will take some beating. Best Be Careful was having his first start for new connections that night and attempted to make all but was caught inside the final furlong. Mr Bounty's two victories have been over 6f and he couldn't find the pace to get involved after a slow break when fourth to Ask Dad last week. Les Darcy finished second in that race and he'll be having his first start over the minimum trip. Times In Anatefka was beaten narrowly in this a year ago and is 5lb lower after failing to go one better subsequently. She will have come of for her run behind Kimbay in September and can go well at a fair price. The lightly-raced Hi Empress produced her best run to date when a short-head behind Jembatt at Tipperary and is well in if repeating that sort of form.
