PRETTY SMART had run two fine races over the minimum at Navan before stepping up to this trip here three weeks ago and battling to a narrow victory over Bellick, who didn't get the run of the race. Sestriere and My Good Brother followed them home and though the runner-up has strong claims the winner looks on the upgrade and can confirm the form. May Remain was always travelling like a winner when scoring over 5f here a fortnight ago and has no problems with the extra though a 7lb rise makes this slightly tougher. French was a 66/1 chance when runner-up to Nigg Bay in a claimer last week and is on a long losing run and though Pillar has numerous placed efforts on the track he's 0-17. Sabrina Fairchild has only run here twice, winning a maiden year ago, and she's been running well on Turf during the summer.
