Verdict

Captain Power has been thereabouts recently but was due to run at Leopardstown yesterday. St Brelades Bay scored at the Curragh last time and Tom Madden’s allowance negates most of a 6lb rise but another chance goes to BLUE ULURU (NAP). The latter has been competing in tougher races since landing a double earlier in the year and is only 2lb higher than when last successful. Jon Ess won twice here earlier in the year but over longer trips while Plough Boy failed to cope with a 6lb rise last time having won at Bellewstown before that.
