This track and trip brings out the best in Six Silver Lane, who battled to another victory over Too Many Diamonds and CHATTERTON last month. The latter is still a maiden after 15 starts and was earlier just behind tonight's rival Roter Baron where he stayed on strongly. Hopefully he can get going a bit earlier this time around and is taken to gain his first success. Manorov is in very good form but has never raced over a trip this short and though Cheers Buddy returned to winning ways last month he had earlier twice finished behind Roter Baron.
