In depth

Verdict

Playa Del Puente made a very promising debut in a huge field at the Curragh and was well supported to make a successful start here in October which he did with the minimum of fuss. He'll be suited by the extra furlong but whether he can concede weight to GRANDMASTER FLASH is another matter. Joseph O'Brien's charge is by Australia and is another certain to be better over a mile after staying on strongly over 7f last month. Hereia got the hang of the job when the race was over on his debut and will have come on nicely for the experience while Lord Wimborne also stayed on late over the track and trip last month.
