PORT LIONS is comfortably the pick of those with experience having chased home Medal Of Honour a couple of weeks ago following some fine runs on Turf. The winner's yard is represented by the newcomer Irish Minister, a half-brother to four winners on the all-weather in the USA. He's obviously one to keep an eye on in the betting but Pat Smullen has chosen to ride the selection rather than Dermot Weld's newcomer Ishigati. Itschessnotchekers did better when dropped back to 6f a fortnight ago but looks best of the remainder.
