Verdict

First Friday was regarded as a little unfortunate to lose the race in the stewards' room here last week and the assessor has rubbed salt in the wound by raising him 5lb. Danny Mullins is on board again and will be very anxious to gain compensation but EVERYTHING ZAIN may have his measure. Dessie Hughes' charge has been going well over hurdles, scoring at Thurles last month, and looks on a very fair mark for his first start on an artificial surface. Porterman has also been racing over jumps though without much success and he's another making his debut on the surface from what could prove a fair mark. Silver Shuffle has had one outing here in the past and didn't run badly so he's another with recent form over hurdles who can get involved.
