First Friday was regarded as a little unfortunate to lose the race in the stewards' room here last week and the assessor has rubbed salt in the wound by raising him 5lb. Dessie Hughes' charge has been going well over hurdles, scoring at Thurles last month, and looks on a very fair mark for his first start on an artificial surface.
