Jim Bolger put a 10lb apprentice on board LOCUS STANDI here last week and the five-year-old duly obliged with a comfortable victory. Another claimer takes over this time so a 4lb rise in the weights shouldn't be too much of a problem and he can complete a quick double. His regular partner Kevin Manning rides Six Silver Lane here and though Johnny Feane's charge is a regular winner he hasn't run over a trip this far since 2012. The maiden Queluz hasn't had much racing and showed a bit more promise here a fortnight ago but another maiden, Society Ranger, has had 21 starts and only finished in the frame three times. Cristy's Call looked a certain future winner on his two starts last month and was backed accordingly a fortnight ago but was very disappointing. That wasn't his form and it would be no surprise to see him bounce back.
