Elusive Fame and Gala Casino Star haven't been in the best of form in the UK and though neither can be dismissed this looks a tough heat to fathom. Scary Movie is on a career-high mark after landing a Lingfield seller while Mac Tiernan's best efforts last season were on turf. Noble Jack has won a couple of races at Lingfield but has been well beaten over timber recently while Cinnin Oir is 12lb higher than when runner-up in the 6f handicap on the card a year ago. Lily's Star's only run here resulted in a last-of-four effort beaten a long way and, though she's done well on turf, she may be best watched today. BREEZED WELL was having his first start since July when very nearly landing a Lingfield handicap earlier this month when caught in the closing stages. He's only 1lb higher and gets the vote. Curl Cat had his only run of the season when a very close third in this race a year ago and should go close if in the same kind of mood.
