National Guard has never raced over a trip this short but has been leading for a long way over further so has to enter calculations. Darkash was just behind him over 6f at Leopardstown in June and has been going well on Turf subsequently but FESTINA PLENTE looks the one to be on. Johnny Murtagh's filly won a 6f maiden impressively here last month where she was always travelling well and she looks to have more scope than most. Hummingbird has been showing good pace in maidens and doesn't look overburdened on her handicap debut while Olay Power has improved with each run and wouldn't need much more to get into the action.
