Sir Mark Prescott has won this twice in recent years and RED BOX, a Listed winner at Ascot in July, can continue the sequence despite making her debut on the surface. Desert Haze is another having her first all-weather run though Ralph Beckett's filly has failed twice at this level after stepping up from handicaps. Mukaabra takes a big leap in class after handicap victories at Kempton and Wolverhampton but Cirin Toinne is better than her form figures suggest as she's been taking on stronger company. Michael Halford has three entries and Pat Smullen was on board when Kadra beat stable companions Indrahar and Suvenna in a strong handicap here three weeks ago, though the latter was returning from a break and could come out best this time.
