JIMMY KELLY made a bright start over the trip last month and was strongly fancied to go one better over 1m2f last week but didn't quite see out the trip after attempting to make all. He can gain compensation though Wheels Of Fortune wasn't far behind in the first of those races and should get involved. Maronella showed plenty of potential last spring though an absence since May is a concern but Pharadelle ran well over the trip at Lingfield last month so is another to consider. The beautifully-bred Shark Island has shown little so far on Turf so connections will hope this surface may bring about a change of fortune.
