In depth

Verdict

Bonnyrigg’s earlier success at Brighton came over a mile and he was well beaten over today’s trip at Sandown last time. ACTION HERO wasn’t at his best on fast going at Haydock recently having scored at Catterick before that but today’s underfoot conditions will suit and Archie Watson’s colt gets another chance. Clashaniska has been thereabouts over shorter trips since completing a double on the all-weather at the start of the year while Prince Of Bel Lir will handle the ground but has yet to race over this far.
