Verdict

Strait Of Magellan was beaten a head at Chepstow last month by Idle Talker. The former re-opposes on better terms but the latter has since won again and is still improving. El Campeon has been in good form on the all-weather but returns to Turf for the first time for over a year upped 7lb for a win at Lingfield. MISHGHAR has also been competing on Polytrack but was second in a soft ground maiden at Newmarket in July and the Hannon colt gets the nod to come good in this. Virginia Celeste may do better now handicapping for the first time.
