In depth

Verdict

The bloodlines surrounding Indochina are encouraging for a good debut but with Mark Johnston's two-year-olds often needing there first run this season we'll side with SHAAYEQ, who was eyecatching on debut, while Danehill Intellect also remains of interest in this maiden. Marcus Tregoning has his string in a bit of form at present and with the selection coming here after a good first effort at Lingfield that record could be extended. The colt is related to plenty of winners and the stable's youngsters improve for the first run. Indochina should be suited by the ground and trip and looking at his decent pedigree he should be successful as a youngster. Danehill Intellect receives weight all around here given a fillies allowance and she is entitled to come on for her solid first start at Kempton especially now upped in trip. Gordon Flash improved from first run to second so it's feasible he'll feature here but after that decent first outing Shaayeq is preferred.
