Verdict

None are easily dismissed though recent winners Hollywood Road and Genetics drop back down in distance off higher marks. Settle Petal is another returning to 1m2f after going close at Windsor while Derek Duval was still beaten six lengths when runner-up at Sandown. MONAADHIL moves in the opposite direction having won over a mile last year and going close over the same trip at Bath on his return. He looks ready for this extra test of stamina and Marcus Tregoning’s unexposed charge gets the nod.
