CAIRNCROSS, far less exposed than most of these, can make a successful transition into handicap company on the back of a solid effort behind the potentially useful Almagest in a Windsor maiden. Improvement has been forthcoming with each outing and the Johnston inmate has the scope to step up again. Poyle Judy has found form with a vengeance in the last month but two successes in ordinary Chepstow handicaps will need improving upon here off her new mark. Whitby Jet makes greater appeal having performed well on this track last time, while C&D winner Baqaat isn't discounted after being dropped a few pounds for her last couple of runs.
