        Verdict

        Akkadian Empire, very keen on his debut at Chepstow, should be capable of better. Masonic was second on his introduction at Yarmouth but couldn't handle better company next time at Kempton. Emenem's second at that track came over a mile and he may not be suited dropping back a furlong. Caspian Gold is a half-brother to a winner over this trip and is the most interesting of the newcomers but MALDONADO should be another winner towards the Jim Crowley title charge as he can be forgiven his flop at Beverley, where he failed to find any cover.
