Verdict

Dual course winner Dr Red Eye is a player who could well set a ferocious pace and it will be interesting to see if another prominent racer, DENZILLE LANE (NAP), chooses to take him on or occupy the box seat. Hopefully it will be the latter as the former tactic could see the pair light one another up. Mark Johnston's gelding has really struck form in recent weeks with brave victories at Newmarket and Beverley, before being cuffed on the line by Mime Dance at Chepstow. Stable three-year-olds frequently maintain improvement at this stage of the campaign and he's taken to regain the winning thread. Liberty Jack, not the most consistent, was back to form over course and distance this month but may find it demanding to concede 6lb to the selection.
