Verdict

Mayo Lad won over 6f in April but appeared to need every yard of Leicester's mile to gain his second success a couple of weeks ago. Lolita Lebron is a tough filly and gained her fourth success at Newcastle on Friday though she likes a bit of cut in the ground and has a penalty to carry. VERSE OF LOVE won a minor handicap over this trip at Chester and didn't get the best of runs over a mile at Salisbury next time. He's on a reasonable mark and can get back to winning ways. Elegant Flight couldn't cope with a 5lb rise when strongly fancied at Haydock after scoring at York while Keyaadi was odds-on for a Chepstow maiden last time but didn't have things his own way and scrambled home. He has plenty of scope but the runner-up that day has been well beaten since and he isn't particularly well handicapped.
